777 Mini Suite

A business-class suite study for the Boeing 777 cabin: privacy, stowage, and seat architecture resolved inside the hardest packaging envelope in transportation design.

A triple-crown product: one design recognized by three of the world's major juries in back-to-back seasons — proof that restraint and utility can win on every continent.

The Designer

Korea-born · 40+ countries
Fig. 05 — S.W. Choi Portrait of Shaun S.W. Choi

Design that never ships is a sketch. I make things that ship.

Born in Korea, raised across Singapore, Greece, and Norway, and shaped by travel through more than forty countries — a childhood that turned cultural fluency into a design instrument.

Trained in industrial and transportation design with a focus on automotive user interfaces at Kookmin University in Seoul, then through internships at Samsung and Hyundai before joining Samsung as an industrial designer — the start of a career spanning Philips flagship audio, Boeing cabin interiors, and clinical device platforms.

Over eighteen years, that career has put more than fifty designs on the market across consumer electronics, medical devices, transportation, and aviation — with creative direction, product range architecture, concept validation, and user experience as the connective tissue between them.
